She went on to state that he is the family’s Galaxy and called his support to the wind beneath their wings and their strength. Salim Khan's partnership with Salma started in 1964, long before he rose to prominence as one of the most important writers of Indian film. Salman, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira were the four children they raised together. Although there was initial opposition to his second marriage to Helen in 1981, the family eventually came to love one another and became the close-knit unit that exists today.
